TRANSMISSION SERVICE

Transmission Service & Diagnostics

Manual and automatic gearbox checks, clutch issues, shifting problems, leaks and drivetrain-related diagnostics.

What We Check & Service

Manual gearbox inspection

Diagnosing mechanical linkages, gear sync, and structural integrity.

Automatic transmission diagnostics

Electronic testing of solenoid valves, hydraulic pressure, and control units.

Clutch condition check

Checking wear levels, biting point, and hydraulic cylinder operation.

Gear shifting issues

Addressing hard gear selection, slippage, or unexpected shifts.

Transmission fluid leak inspection

Finding oil seepage points to prevent low lubrication internal damage.

DRIVESHAFT AND CV AXLE INSPECTION

Inspection of CV joints, boots and driveshafts for play, damage or imbalance.

Mounts and vibration diagnosis

Verifying gearbox mounts are absorbing engine torque correctly.

Transmission fault code scan

Retrieving specific transmission control module error logs and live data.

Preventive gearbox maintenance

Recommending fluid flushes and filter changes to extend mechanical lifetime.

Common Transmission Symptoms

Recognizing symptoms early can help address minor concerns before they develop into major mechanical failures. Below are common indicators that may suggest your transmission requires attention.

Hard shifting

What you may notice: Gears are difficult to engage or shifting feels stiff.

Possible causes: Worn clutch, gear linkage issues, low or old transmission fluid, synchromesh wear, or internal gearbox wear.

Slipping gears

What you may notice: Engine revs increase but the car does not accelerate properly.

Possible causes: Worn clutch, automatic transmission component wear, low transmission fluid, pressure control issues, or torque converter problems.

Grinding noise

What you may notice: Grinding or crunching noise during gear changes.

Possible causes: Clutch not disengaging fully, synchromesh wear, gearbox internal damage, or incorrect fluid specification.

hourglass_empty

Delayed engagement

What you may notice: After selecting Drive or Reverse, the car responds with a delay.

Possible causes: Low transmission fluid, automatic gearbox pressure issues, valve body problems, or worn clutch packs.

opacity

Transmission leak

What you may notice: Oil spots under the vehicle or oily residue around the gearbox.

Possible causes: Damaged seals, loose drain plugs, worn gaskets, or cracked casing.

vibration

Vibration under acceleration

What you may notice: The car vibrates when accelerating or under load.

Possible causes: Worn engine or gearbox mounts, driveshaft issues, CV joint wear, or clutch/flywheel imbalances.
